First time we ate at Dinkers. The things we didn't know before we went: - Cash only - there's an ATM in the bar so not a big deal. - You order and pay for the burger near the back of the bar at the grill. - You order and pay for drinks at the bar. Food came fast. The hamburgers were very good. Mine could have used just a little salt. I liked the place but it's not really somewhere I'm likely to go to again unless someone I know wants to go there.

I've been here and ate here many times. The Blue Jay burger did not disappoint. The fries were very good and crispy. Cold beer and great bartender. Fun night.

I first went to Dinkers today, and it was really good! I was thrown off at first about whether or not to sit down and wait to be served or where to order, but thankfully a regular at the bar asked if I had been there before. First off, BRING CASH or expect to go to the very back left to use their ATM. They are CASH only. Secondly, you go to the far back right to order at the counter and pay. You then get a number on a stand that you will take with you to put on your table. It was not a long time after we had ordered, that someone brought over our food. One of my ranches spilled out and the guy bringing our food out apologized. I said it was fine and not to worry about it as well as asking if he'd bring another ranch please. He did as well as check on how we were doing later on. My burger was seriously so good. I got the bacon cheeseburger deluxe style (with tomatoes, lettuce, mayo). The pickles they put on the side are incredible definitely homemade like their ranch and onion rings (and basically everything according to their menu). My boyfriend got the cheddar jalapeño burger and fries. He also really enjoyed his food too! I tried his fries and they were super crispy! The bar is on the right as you walk in and then if you keep walking down there is the kitchen/ordering counter. The whole rest is seating. I really liked the atmosphere there. It wasn't too loud and they had cool neon signs with old newspaper articles hung on the walls. I really enjoyed my experience at Dinkers and I definitely see myself coming back! Great burgers, sides, and very friendly people!

THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED. I am somewhat of a burger connoisseur. So, the "Omaha's Best Burger" claim clearly needed to be tested. You gotta know what category you are in to correctly rate a burger. The way I see things, there are 3 burger categories: Category #1: the cheap fast food burger (think McDonalds) Category #2: The bouje fast food burger (think In-N-Out) Category #3: The craft burger (think pub) Dinkers' burgers are an anomaly and may force me to create a category between 2 and 3. It almost feels like a fast food joint in the way you order. However, the burger comes out quick and hot. To really get the full Dinkers experience, the buyer must order multiple patties.Every patty added makes the burger better. Fries are great and the beer selection was top notch.

We visited the area and decided to try the local favorite. It is cash only with an ATM on-site if you need $$. We ordered: 1. Fried mushrooms - these were prepared well, and the mushrooms inside were fresh. Get a side of ranch for dipping. (4.5/5 ) 2. Steak sandwich - this is a hidden gem. We ordered smothered and medium rare. The meat is super tender, surprisingly so, and seasoned well. (5/5 ) 3. Chicken Sandwich - perfect ratio of crispy chicken to bread. The person who ordered enjoyed it. (5/5 ) 4. Haystack burger - this may have been the most recommended burger. We ordered the egg runny. (5/5 ) 5. Husker burger - this burger had great flavors and overall pretty good. These thicker patties are pretty good. (4.5/5 ) 6. BLT - great ratio of breading to bacon. The person who ordered enjoyed it. (5/5 ) 7. Bacon burger - the person who ordered enjoyed it. (4.5/5 ) 8. Onion rings - the prep on these are unique and tasty. Would recommend ordering. (7/5 ) 9. Fries - these were really good, but the onion rings were the . (4/5 ) The ranch here is phenomenal . We would return again to order some repeat dishes and try new ones.

Basically grew up here so this place is obviously one of my favorite places in Omaha . Ate here with my dad on Friday and it was amazing still had leftovers that I ate for lunch on Saturday still delicious the next day !

No photos of the food but "Omahas Best Burger" holds some truth here. The burgers are juicy, flavorful and definitely worth a trip to the less travelled side of town. The fries were great, and service is fast, friendly, and enjoyable. If there is one thing that everyone should know before going here. It is a cash only establishment. So make sure you bring some dollar bills. It's worth the stop at an ATM

Dinkers Bar is a local gem that a friend told me about recently. It's a totally awesome venue! Tip: No credit cards accepted; payment is cash only The atmosphere is chill, the food is over-the-top incredible, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It doesn't get any better than this :-)

This is one of those dark neighborhood haunts where your eyes take a few seconds to adjust after walking in. Once your eyesight returns, you'll notice a long room with a cash register at the end. That's where you place your order. (Note: They're cash only.) A few minutes after I ordered, a staff member delivered a bacon cheeseburger and side of chips. A few minutes after that, I had a happy plate.

Friendly staff. We had a group of seven and they were able to accommodate us as soon as we arrived. Ordered the Jalapeño Burger and onion rings. Both were flavorful. Order food at the counter and drinks at the bar. Cash only. Parking is available
